What We Into This Week #5
Wouldn’t you believe it, going on tour makes it harder to be consistent with your newsletters. Especially if you had the run I did last week. Missed my flight to Austin, took an Uber from Dallas to Cap City Comedy club, had my flight to New Orleans delayed to hell, got my rental car and IMMEDIATELY got a speeding ticket, and after that everything panned out and was all good. So, you know, just on the road thriving and vibing. All that being said, the shows have been awesome! The energy that everyone brings has genuinely gotten me compliments from comedy club GMs and lets me know I’m doing something right. My freaky ass audience knows how to treat a club right! I’m writing this from Portland, Maine while it rains and I really wish I was in a lighthouse right now. The vibes got me wanting to walk along the pier in some gray sweatpants giving that meated up Willem Dafoe energy.
🎞️Movies
This is going to be a wild pull, but The Hangover was on the TV when me and Khris got to NOLA and it really took me back. This was a generational movie. Zack Galafinakis’ performance really made the “weird little guy” trope take off for this generation, the needle drops made me consider how much money was spent on that aspect alone, and Bradley Cooper really makes you happy that the “shitty friend who always knows what to say” trope has died out. Anyway, check it out!

I’m Gudnak pilled again! I just shot a bunch of videos for Gudnak, so I’m currently at PortCon with my decks trying to teach new people how to play the game! It’s a good time, and if you’ll be at GenCon I’ll teach you too!
